JFK/ MJ Effect

Will June 25th, 2009 go down as a day in infamy?... will the day the king of pop died be a national holiday?...

One thing is for sure: I bet you know where you were when you first heard about 9/11

I'll sure as hell never forget where I was when I heard about Michael Jackson.

The BK Lounge

At first I said to myself, who in god's name approved this!..... ohhhh crazy Europeans - but you have to love their lack of care for the PC....

Speaking of which, after the highly touted and very upsetting news that Michael Jackson had passed away yesterday, I was looking at the order of news delivery and who had the out right gumption to say that he had died first.

As a person who works in the entertainment industry and in an office of 20 people who are constantly on the phone with well connected people and staying on blogs and news feeds, I feel that I am privy to coming across this type of information at a fairly decent speed compared to someone in another field of business.

Basically here's how my news feed of information about the MJ event went... 5:30 co worker walks into office and screams HOLY SH*T MJ DIED - I of course am not terribly shocked, but nontheless am upset and rather skeptical... CNN.com is the first hit for all things news worthy.... go there... for the first hour basically, they were neither able to confirm or deny any facts concerning MJ.... the IMMEDIATE and first prononciation of his passing came from TMZ - who was logical enough to just be outright and blunt. The fact that he had actually passed in his home shows how slow the speed of news concerning confirmation really is.

Visa vie, the following shall result of this social experiment. TMZ = Better source of news!

R.I.P. PYT! - Every bar in New York City was crankin' his tunes all night long!

Google Ad Sense

I've seen way too many of ranting and raving positive assesments and recently heard through the grapevine that a friend is making some actual cash doing these shenanigans. Posting links through google ads seems extremely easy and fruitful. I'll continue to detail as I get positive or negative results as well as the ease of use.

Initial Launch

As an overly opinionated individual who is not extremely extroverted with regard to menial and oft commonplace situations, commercials, advertisements and other miscellaneous news items, I thought that starting a blog, would best keep an accurate track record of an extremely various array of my OFFICIAL REVIEW of any and every thing.
